Pleasanton is located in the eastern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Located along the I-680 and I-580 corridors, mid-way between Oakland and San Jose, Pleasanton is easily accessible. Major airports serving the area are San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. Major rental car companies are represented at all airports. Pleasanton is approximately 36 miles from the San Francisco International Airport, 25 miles from San Jose International Airport and 18 miles from the Oakland Airport. BART (subway) service is also available from both San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). At SFO a BART train to Dublin/Pleasanton may be boarded at the international terminal. At OAK an AirBart shuttle bus ($3.00 fare) will take you to the Colliseum BART station, from which you may take a Dublin/Pleasanton train to Pleasanton. The Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is a short 10 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride to the Four Points Sheraton hotel.
